I started Grassroots with the dream of having clean products for my family to use, products we could read the ingredients on, products we could trust.

As far as soap goes, I know there are definitely fancier bars out there. Grassroots soap bars are rustic and don't have the fun swirls and colors. What they also don't have is unnecessary or toxic ingredients. I only include in my bars what needs to be there which means no fun dried flowers on the top, but also no dyes, chemicals, or soap base.

Instead, you are getting an entirely handcrafted bar made with simple ingredients you can pronounce.

I also don't cut or shave my bars down to achieve a certain shape. This leaves a more rustic and "unfinished" look, but it also leaves you with 100% of the bar you're paying for.

What began as a desire for clean skincare has become a passion for clean living and an overall reduction of waste.
